Olympic Games 2021 in Tokyo – time for a new Wetskills initiative: ‘Olympic’ Wetskills-Japan 2021, an online learning experience. This new edition of Wetskills Challenge, the first one in Japan, is planned for 29 June – 5 August 2021. Due to corona pandemic, foreign visitors are not allowed during the Olympic period in Japan, so this Wetskills programme will be an online programme of 6 weeks of 1-2 days working time per week.
Are you a student or young professional from Japan, The Netherlands, East Asia region, Europe or other parts of the world, and do you want to make a difference in the water-energy-food nexus? Would you like to experience working in an international team? Do you want to work on challenging water-energy-food issues and get to present your ideas at the online platform of the TeamNL Tokyo Expo with high-level audience? Then this is your chance! Wetskills Foundation and partners will organis a first (and new Olympic) Wetskills edition (online) for Japan!
Wetskills Foundation is inviting students (Bachelor (final year), Master and PhD) and Young Professionals from universities and organisations worldwide with a passion for Water-Energy-Food, to join this unique event and apply for Wetskills-Japan 2021 (period: 29 June – 5 August 2021).
This Wetskills event will be dedicated to the Central theme: ‘Water-Energy-Food Nexus’, which is the theme of the 2021 Olympics in Tokyo. This is the main focus of the WorldExpo Dubai 2021, where Wetskills Foundation will be present as well. All cases will be aligned to this theme and also include topics outside the water domain.
The 2020-2021 central theme of Wetskills Events, celebrating 10 years of Wetskills:
